Israeli intel: Hamas has amassed 5,000 rockets since 2009 war TEL AVIV — Israel's intelligence community has determined that Hamas was developing a capability to fire rocket salvos. The sources said Hamas, with increased help from Iran and Hizbullah, was seeking to enhance the accuracy of Palestinian unguided missiles and rockets as well as connect batteries to a command and control system. They said Hamas has accumulated more than 5,000 missiles and rockets in the aftermath of the 2009 war with Israel. http://www.worldtribune.com/worldtribune/WTARC/2010/me_hamas0031_01_18.asp Israel, the United States, and the Danger of War with Iran Posted by Justin Logan Steve Hynd at Newshoggers looks at Heritage’s recent work on Iran and observes that it sure seems like they’re prepared for war. James Phillips says the Israelis may attack Iran but we shouldn’t try to stop them. Phillips notes uncritically Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu’s characterization of the Iranian state as a “a messianic apocalyptic cult” and points out that while the United States “has the advantage of being geographically further away from Iran than Israel and thus less vulnerable to an Iranian nuclear attack … it must be sensitive to its ally’s security perspective.” http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/2010/01/17/israel-us-danger-war-iran/ Yadlin: Turkey moving towards Islamic radicals Iran has not been deterred from its march to the nuclear bomb, and one-time ally Turkey is drawing closer to the side of Islamic radicals and further from Israel and the West, OC Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin warned on Tuesday at the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1263147930949&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull Iran threatens to hit Gulf Published Date: January 20, 2010 TEHRAN: Iran's Defense Minister Ahamd Vahidi said yesterday that Western warships stationed in the Gulf are "best targets" for the Islamic republic if its nuclear sites are attacked, Fars news agency reported. Iranian officials have repeatedly threatened to deliver a "crushing response" and hit US targets, including its bases in the Gulf and neighboring Iraq and Afghanistan, if Iran's nuclear sites are attacked. Why are there so many warships there? The Westerners know that these warships are the best target for operation by Iran if they do anything against (us)," Vahidi told a conference in Tehran. The United States and its regional ally Israel, which accuse Iran of seeking atomic weapons under the guise of a civilian nuclear program, have never ruled out a military option to thwart Tehran's nuclear drive. Iran denies the charges and has continued to expand its nuclear program despite UN sanctions. http://www.kuwaittimes.net/read_news.php?newsid=Mzg4OTg0OTgz Sources: Iran ordered attack on Israeli convoy in Jordan Updated: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 12:30GMT—7:30AM/EST Washington, 19 January (WashingtonTV)—An attack last week on an Israeli diplomatic convoy in Jordan was apparently carried out on instructions from Iran, the Jerusalem Post reported on Tuesday, citing sources close to Jordan’s General Intelligence Department. The sources told the daily that the Jordanian agency was investigating the possibility that the explosives used in last week’s failed attempt were smuggled into Jordan by Iranian diplomats. The attack itself was apparently perpetrated by local al-Qaida supporters who received money and explosives from Tehran, the sources said. http://televisionwashington.com/floater_article1.aspx?lang=en&t=2&id=17278 |

Israel will not pull out of the next Middle East war until Hizbollah is annihilated The tension on the Lebanese border is palpable as sworn enemies flex their military muscle. ![]() Watching brief: Israeli troops monitor the border with Lebanon from Metulla Photo: AFP By Con Coughlin 8:37PM GMT 02 Feb 2012 It is the front line of Israel’s deepening conflict with Iran, and beneath the snow-capped peaks of Mount Hermon the final preparations are taking shape for a conflict that promises to change the landscape of the modern Middle East. On one side, amid the foothills of southern Lebanon, is Hizbollah, the Iranian-backed Shia militia that is busily stockpiling thousands of missiles in readiness for the next round of hostilities against its sworn enemy, Israel. On the other side stand the men and women of Israel’s armed forces, the defenders of the Jewish state who are working on their own plans to defeat the Tehran-controlled militia that is committed to Israel’s destruction. ...“This time, the war is going to last for as long as it takes to destroy Hizbollah,” said an Israeli officer. “We will not make the same mistake of allowing them to escape.”... By REUTERS/Sharif Karim Hezbollah is prepared to attack Israel if Western powers interfere in Syria against the regime in Damascus, a Lebanese Hezbollah official said Sunday according to the Palestinian News Network. Pentagon Plan for Syria http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/153275 The Pentagon has detailed plans for military action if President Barack Obama decides to intervene in a humanitarian move to stop the Syrian President Bashar Assad’s death machine that has murdered thousands of opponents, CNN reported Wednesday. Maybe we are about to see prophecy fulfilled. Isaiah 17:1 Anyone know if North Korea is mentioned in prophecy? I just wonder if they will change their mind in the future after we let our guard down and we are spread so thin in numerous wars? |

When I hear Damascus, I automatically think of Isaiah 17:1. We know Damascus is going to be a ruinous heap. It sounds like something will be happening there before much longer. Come Quickly, Lord Jesus! Assad Threatens Israel With Missiles if Syria is Attacked (Again) Syrian President Bashar Assad has ordered the heads of his military to hit Israel with a barrage of missiles should there be any foreign intervention in Syria, a Jordanian news website reported on Saturday. According to the site, Our Country’s News, Assad gave the order in a secret meeting with the heads of the Syrian army last Thursday, in light of his fear of a U.S. military strike in Syria. The report said that Assad ordered that if any military action is started against Syria, the Syrian army should respond by firing missiles in Israel, with a particular emphasis on Israeli military airports. The report added that an operations room has been opened in Damascus and that it is continuously manned by officers from Syria and Iran, as well as by Hizbullah terrorists, all of whom coordinate their military operations in the event of external military intervention in Syria. A similar operations room has been opened in Tehran, said the report, and is manned by Iranian as well as by Hizbullah terrorists. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Ne...2#.T1Lji3lnBTQ |

http://debka.com/# Announcing he is not responsible for the UN observers, President Bashar Assad has set in motion steps for prolonging his war on the Syrian people. For essential funding, debkafile discloses, he has offered Moscow and Beijing $30 billion worth of government bonds to replenish his depleted war chest. And at the UN Security Council, while Russia’s Vitaly Churkin voted for a UN observer team to secure the erratic Syrian ceasefire, Moscow quietly sent warships to Syrian shores to secure the Assad regime.

The IDF Navy floatilla for Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Independence day) , when it does its anual desplay up and down the coast of Israel, has been cancelled this year for security reasons, meaning, the whole fleet will be on full alert and on duty. The IDF is watching the northern border now with all seriousness. War is expected at any time. |

Published on Apr 17, 2012 by Isaiah262O http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRIxkL3rjqw Remember the story of Jonah? God was grieved because he was going to have to destroy Nineveh and he referred to it as a great (large) city. Damascus is a great city as well, with 20+ million souls. We have to pray for the Church in Damascus to be so very effective now, as well as for God to work powerfully to draw all people there to himself, by any means necessary; it's a race against time, a short window of opportunity. Cry out to God to move in power to seek and to save the lost, to send workers to the harvest, to open blind eyes and open deaf ears. We have a chance to snatch the lost from the hungry jaws of Hell, if we just cooperate with the Spirit of God to intercede for those about to perish. Where else can we make such a difference in the short term, for an eternal gain? Let's pray for Christians around the globe to wake up to the urgent need to pray for this great city of Damascus. God will answer our prayers and he will respond in awesome power on behalf of those walking in darkness. Jesus, please send the light and draw these people to yourself! Supernaturally empower your witnesses in Damascus to love those around them. Please set the captives free. In response to Syrian President Bashar Assad's threat to attack Tel Aviv if Syria is attacked by coalition forces, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has gone on record as saying that any rocket from Syria that lands on Tel Aviv, will result in the destruction of Damascus, and any subsequent rockets will result in a 1:1 annihilation of Syrian towns. Reality is now poised to fulfill prophecy. |

Six army battalions called up under emergency orders to meet growing threat on Egypt, Syria borders Knesset approves IDF request to call up a further 16 battalions if needed By AARON KALMAN May 2, 2012, 3:13 pm Updated: May 2, 2012, 7:53 pm ![]() Reserve soldiers conduct a training exercise (photo credit: Matanya Tausig/Flash90) The IDF has issued emergency call up orders to six reserve battalions in light of new dangers on the Egyptian and Syrian borders. And the Knesset has given the IDF permission to summon a further 16 reserve battalions if necessary, Israeli media reported on Wednesday. An IDF spokesperson said intelligence assessments called for the deployment of more soldiers... ... The Syrian situation was also highly combustible, Harel said, “and it could explode at any moment… and pose a direct challenge to us.” Maariv said the army had to decide whether to cancel training sessions for enlisted soldiers or to summon additional reserve units, and it chose the latter; canceling training would mean soldiers would not be prepared in the case of an all-out war... Possible Scenario and Analysis: When Assad knows his time is truly up - like a scared animal backed into a corner, Assad will strike out. He will most likely attack Israel in an attempt to garner support with neighboring Islamic nations. This will lead to armed conflict in the region with Israel, of which Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and others may be involved. Assad will use chemical weapons launched from missiles, and the results will be devastating. Israel will retaliate for this and lay waste to Damascus in the fray...Damascus will cease to be a city, and will lay in a ruinous heap. ~~~ Multinational force massed on Jordanian-Syrian border... DEBKAfile Exclusive Report May 10, 2012, 2:06 PM (GMT+02:00) Beset on two fronts, Bashar Assad rushed his elite Presidential Guard Division to Damascus Thursday, May 10, as two massive car bombs in the al Qaza district of Damascus demolished the command center of the Syrian military security service’s reconnaissance division.. ![]() ...Western and Arab pressure is building up to an intolerable pitch for the Syrian president... ...Special forces units of the US, France, Britain, Canada and other NATO members have gathered in Jordan alongside Saudi, Jordanian and Qatari special units for a large-scale ten-day military exercise in Jordan starting May 15... ...Syrian cities, especially the capital, are being targeted for violent bombing attacks designed to bring the Assad regime tumbling down...
