39 Minnesota Tornadoes Set Single-Day Record 39 tornado reports in Minnesota on June 17 Updated: Friday, 18 Jun 2010, 3:30 PM CDT Published : Friday, 18 Jun 2010, 11:14 AM CDT by Mike Durkin, Paul Blume and Karen Scullin MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Department of Public Safety recorded 39 tornadoes, 26 funnel clouds, 11 reports of damage from thunderstorm winds and 69 reports of hail in Thursday’s storms. Minnesota Gov.
