Putin's War on Israel

Posted Image

Now that another Middle East war seems imminent, concerns are growing about the new powerful weapons that are available to Palestinian terrorists. It appears to be virtually unknown that these weapons are being steadily supplied by Putin's Russia. In the present atmosphere of the everlasting "reset" of relations between the U.S. and Russia, it is not difficult for the Kremlin to camouflage its arming of terrorists. Indeed, the world is willing to turn a blind eye.

This month, for instance, Russia announced it was making another gift to the "Palestinian security forces" on the West Bank: 50 armored vehicles. According to Russia's Foreign Ministry earlier this month, the gift was already in Jordan and about to be passed on to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). It was President Medvedev who made this decision which, the Kremlin says, will help the development of a Palestinian statehood.

Does anyone think this could set the stage for the Gog Magog war?

I don't see Israel going in to take out only one target. What a waste of jet fuel that would be. I believe they would be taking out many targets along the way and especially coming back to re-fuel.

Also, a new article just yesterday saying Too many things happening all at the same time. Amazing how things are moving into place and keeping us all on the edge!

direct talks for peace would start in 2 days.
That stood out to me like a sore thumb to me as well.
The very high possibility of an all out war in that region
in the very near future?

One Trigger Finger Can Start WW3

August 14, 2010

With Hezbollah, Hamas, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran all on the highest alert, and all five literally sitting a few hundred yards apart -staring at each other with loaded guns - it will only take one trigger happy soldier to plunge this whole planet into the Third World War. Not to mention the political unrest in Iran which is about to upset the plans of Ahmadinejad. He believes that he has been called by his 'god' to reveal the 12th Imam who will establish Islamic global control after a catastrophic war from which Persia apparently emerges victorious. Ahmadinejad desperately wants this war to begin - and soon.

Then, when we look at the conditions now developing around the Obama administration, Barack may find war an attractive option at this time as well? God only knows what collaborations he has entered into with the Islamic community at large. One thing is obvious though - he has gone out of his way to accommodate them whilst turning his back on the civilized western world.

When we take a closer look at what is happening in and near Iran [mostly in the Straits of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman] we see once again the gathering of many American warships. This includes the USS Truman aircraft carrier with over 6,000 Marines aboard. She is accompanied by a fleet which includes the USS Normandy, a missile cruiser, and the USS Oscar Austin a missile destroyer.

We have been told that the USS Truman doesn't go anywhere without being protected by at least two nuclear subs. There are other vessels in the area as well; the USS Churchill and the USS Peieliu. They are stationed in the Arabian Sea and have many marines aboard. These are just the ones we know about!

The Iranians possess many torpedo and missile boats and they have recently purchased the British "Bladerunner" speedboat which has a top speed in excess of 60 MPH. What worries the USS Truman is that these vessels are armed with the Russian Shkval torpedoes, believed to be the fastest in the world with speeds of 360 MPH. They would be impossible to destroy once fired. To add to this scenario, Iran has now sent out four Ghadir type mini-subs into the area.

As we have reported over the past few weeks, Israel is now believed to have at least two submarines and two warships located somewhere near the Iranian coast. What is not known is how many, if any, Russian subs are in that area also. We do know that they have been seen docking along the Syrian coast with aircraft carriers also unloading military gear for Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army. I believe the "Flotillas" now trying to break the Gaza blockade are nothing but an organized effort to draw attention away from the Persian Gulf and what is happening there at present..

The Russians, not surprisingly, have sided with Iran and have now installed the S-300 anti-aircraft missiles to make sure they can defend themselves against any Israeli air attack.

The USA has just struck a deal with the Saudis to deliver 84 more F-15 fighter Jets. Egypt is sitting there quietly and has also been armed by the US with everything needed for the coming war with Israel. Bashar Assad of Syria has made the statement many times over the past few months that war is the only thing Israel understands, and that Syria is now ready with tens of thousands of Missiles tipped with chemical warheads.
Hezbollah now boast that they have over 50,000 missiles, and many of them are long-range which can, and will, hit every part of Israel. It is even known that Syria has sent scuds into Lebanon to Hezbollah.

So you see when we shout "wolf", "Wolf", it is not that the Wolf isn't showing his ugly teeth. We see him alright! And it seems that as he circles us he is getting bolder every day. I think the big question now for Israel and the US is; have they waited too long?

With all of the above I daily awaken with an urgency to prepare to save Jewish lives and know God has given us the way. Still many things need to be done and God willing we will be ready to go into action very soon. The biggest thing on our agenda these days is emergency

communications that will be needed when conventional communications fail us. The single largest expense we are facing is the purchase of the larger boat. All the travels and maintenance are very costly. We do everything we can to hold the cost down - but some things simply have to be done in order to gain the cooperation necessary in the future. I am asking each of you who are called to be with the us to pray about your part in this ministry, and simply ask God what it is He would have you do.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem for our son Joel and al the IDF soldiers. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it.

Shalom, Jerry Golden

.

For some reason, I think this war will start by "accident" somehow - God is in control, and is on the throne, but nonetheless, I think an accidental fuse could start the whole thing off - just think of someone in an apartment complex who falls asleep with a cigarette in his mouth, and then the cig falls to the ground, which ends up putting parts of the entire complex on fire.

The timing of the deployment of these S-300's by Russia is no coincidence.

Russian S-300s in Abkhazia block possible Israeli air route to Iran

US and Israeli military sources told DEBKAfile Thursday, Aug. 12, that a threat from Georgia was not the reason why Russian posted advanced S-300 interceptor batteries Russia in Abkhazia and air defense weapons in South Ossetia on the northern shore of the Black Sea -as Moscow officially maintained, but rather possible moves by the US and/or Israel against Iran and its nuclear facilities.

Russia justifies deploying S-300 missile systems in Abkhazia (Update 1)

S-300 air defense system

The deployment of S-300 air defense systems in Abkhazia is not a violation of Russia's international obligations, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

"As to the S-300, this air defense system is an integral part of military equipment deployed at our military base in Abkhazia, which is intended solely for defensive purposes," ministry spokesman Andrey Nesterenko said.

The advanced version of the S-300 system, the S-300PMU1 has a range of more than 150 kilometers (more than 100 miles) and can intercept missiles and aircraft at a wide range of altitudes, making it effective in warding off air and missile strikes.

Abkhazia - The Hook in the Jaw?

Commentary & Analysis

by

L. A. Marzulli

The Russians announced that they were going to bring the S-300 interceptors to the Black Sea. (This is the area on the map to the right above Togarmah)

Are we seeing the involvement of Russia? Is this the so-called hook in the jaw that the prophecy of Ezekiel refers to? Is this a step that will lead to Russia's full involvement in the coming war? I have said for months that the player to watch in the Middle East was Russia. If She gets involved in the coming Middle East War, and it appears from this latest development that she may well be, it may in fact be a game changer.

We know from the Ezekiel prophecy that in the later days a confederacy of nations will come up a land of unwalled villages. i.e. Israel and attack her. From my vantage point I can see that this coalition of nations has formed. We see that Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Russia are loosely linked together. We also know that Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran have all signed war pacts. In other words, if one of these nations is attacked, the others have agreed to fight the aggressor. We also see that Turkey has turned from the west and is now looking toward Iran. This happened a few weeks ago and I BLOGGED about how the nations of Meshech, Tubal and Togarmah were suddenly lining up just like the prophecy that was written thousands of years ago foretold.

We are witnessing the continuing chess match being played out on the board of the Middle East. We know that the Iranians have moved missiles along the Straights of Hormuz. The US responded by moving the Aircraft Carrier, USS Truman into the Straights. Now, Russia responds by moving its S-300 interceptors into Abkhazia. We see that Russia is involved up to her eyeballs! She has a dog in the hunt (see related story below) as she is helping the Iranians get their nuclear reactor up and running.

By placing the S-300 system in Abkhazia this blocks a possible Israeli air strike on Iran from the north. Russia is not sitting on the side lines, she is actively engaged in the coming conflict as she is backing the Iranians. I believe that the present administration has created a weak military posture in the region, mostly because of Obama's naivete in the arena of foreign policy. In contrast to Putin, who is a seasoned International Statesman, Obama presents a cartoon figure. Even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Obama to go get some experience.

In closing today's post. It would appear that Russia has entered the fray, at least in part. They seem to be willingly in helping the Iranians. They are ignoring the West's request to put sanctions on Iran in order to stop their nuclear ambitions, and instead are helping the Iranians achieve their goal of becoming a nuclear power. This combined with the apocalyptic world view held by the Mullahs may turn out to be a volatile combination. In the end, we will see if this installing of the S-300 interceptors leads to the hook in the jaw that is described in the Ezekiel 38 prophecy...

Flap in Jerusalem over Aug. 21 activation of Iran's first reactor

The sudden announcement in Moscow and Tehran on Aug. 11 that Russia is set to activate Iran's first nuclear power reactor by loading the fuel on Aug. 21 has caused a major flap in Israel in view of the military aspects of the plant. DEBKAfile's military sources report that only last week, high Israeli officials asked Washington for clarifications on the latest intelligence information that Moscow had decided to finally activate the Bushehr reactor after innumerable delays.

The White House called the Kremlin and was assured that President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minster Vladimir Putin stood by their pledge to President Barack Obama that the Russian-built nuclear plant would not go on line this year.

This pledge now proves worthless.Indeed, Rostratom director Sergei Kiryenko will attend the Bushehr launching ceremony.

Jerusalem is also worried by the news that Russia has stationed S-300 anti-missile batteries in Abkhazia on the Black Sea because it ties in with the imminent activation of the Bushehr reactor. It is taken as a signal that Israel's air route to Iran is hereby closed and Moscow will do its utmost to thwart an Israeli strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.

John Bolton, former US ambassador to the United Nations and adviser to the Bush administration, defined Moscow's date for loading nuclear fuel rods into the Iranian reactor as touching off a point of no return. Talking to Fox News Friday, Aug. 11, he said Aug. 21 is a deadline "by which Israel would have to launch an attack on Iran's Bushehr reactor before it becomes effectively 'immune' to assault."

Iranian cataclysm forecast Aug. 22
Islamists seeking heaven could spark
apocalypse, Princeton expert warns

A top expert on the Mideast says it is possible Iran could pick Aug. 22, the anniversary of one of Islam's holiest events, for a cataclysm Shiite Muslims believe will forever resolve the battle between "good" and "evil."

Princeton's Bernard Lewis has written an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal advising that the rest of the world would be wise to bear in mind that for those who believe the end of the world is imminent and good, there is no deterrent even to nuclear warfare.

As WorldNetDaily has reported, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has urged his people to prepare for the coming of an Islamic "messiah," raising concerns a nuclear-armed Islamic Republic could trigger the kind of global conflagration he envisions will set the stage for the end of the world.

my belief is that Putin is not stupid, nor is he being played for a sucker. I think Putin knows exactly what he is doing - destroying muslims and jews. My reasoning is: Putin and Russia have little love for jews and muslims - Russia doesn't want to destroy the middle east itself because it likes getting money from the West - so, give the nuts in iran the nukes and let the middle east erupt in nuclear war. Result? Millions of muslims and jews destroyed by themselves. Russia takes over the oil. aaaaa if China lets it.

We live in interesting times.

What do you do when war is brewing? Disarm.Faced with a calamitous economic situation, all Western countries are cutting their military expenditure to risible levels. They are becoming small-time players, but they are still talking a big game.
Announcing the better part of $500 billion in cuts over 10 years, and hinting at another $500 billion soon, President Obama warned all potential adversaries: the US military will be leaner, but even meaner. 'The United States will maintain our military superiority,' he promised, without at first specifying over whom. But then he made that clear, after a fashion: 'We'll be strengthening our presence in the Asia Pacific and budget reductions will not come at the expense of this critical region.' The implication is that they'll come at the expense of other, less critical, regions, which is encouraging news for the rest of NATO, and also Israel.
Assuming the US isn't fearing Japan, it's clearly China over which they'd like to reaffirm their military superiority. The idea isn't without attraction: All those aircraft carriers rolling off China's production lines aren't exactly cruise liners. They're going to threaten the Philippines and Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia -- possibly even Australia. In all likelihood they'll be used as a blackmail weapon first, the same way the Soviets used their nuclear capability in the good old days. Be nice to us or else, is the unspoken message. But meanwhile, last week China's Defence Minister told the army to prepare for war, which fact was widely covered in the Chinese press, but not in the West.
The once and future President Vladimir Putin doesn't do unspoken messages: the Russians are no match for the Chinese in the inscrutability department. Practically every speech he delivers includes a kind reminder orbi et urbi that Russia is still a nuclear power. And it's not just words; Russia's military buildup is proceeding apace. The Russians have just conducted a series of successful firing tests for their submarine-launched missile system Bulava ('mace' in English). They plan to deploy 170 Bulavas in 2012, which will put a big pow into their already mean punch. Considering that each Bulava will be MIRVed to carry up to 10 independently targeted warheads with a yield of 150 kt each, Russia will be able to overpower all Western European countries put together with even greater ease than it can do so now.
This doesn't mean that, with the US busy in the Pacific, Russian tanks will sweep across the plain. They won't have to -- it's not for nothing that curricula in Russian military academies invariably include the study of the Chinese strategist Sun Tzu. Back in the 6th century BC, he taught that 'to win without fighting is the acme of skill', and the Russians are good learners.
In the face of the opponent's overwhelming superiority, a chess player doesn't play to the bitter end. He resigns, which is precisely what the EU, bereft of America's protection and devoid of what the Spanish call los cojones, will do. Col. Putin and his KGB colleagues will simply dictate the terms of surrender -- much to the delight of the British press that by that time will be owned mostly, as opposed to merely in part, by KGB thugs. In any region, at any time in history, the dominant military power has always been able to ride roughshod over its neighbours. And I do hope you don't think for a second that the ruling KGB camarilla fronted by Putin would have qualms about pressing their advantage home.
Our repsonse is truly logical: we disarm. Our army has dwindled away to the numerical strength it last had when little Ollie wasn't even a twinkle in Mr Cromwell's eye. And the Royal Navy has lost its carriers, a weapon known since the battle of Medway to be the key to naval warfare. In its present state our navy wouldn't even be capable of launching another South Atlantic operation, never mind matching up to hundreds of Russian nuclear submarines armed with Bulavas. (Incidentally, when Britannia ruled the waves in the 19th century the Navy Department in Whitehall had a staff one tenth of what it has now.)
And it's not just Russia, at least not directly -- the world has many other threats and many other flash points, the Middle East prime among them. Considering that the most powerful European country has a vested interest in much turmoil there (trouble means higher oil prices, and Russia's economy is based on the exports of hydrocarbons), and America doesn't seem to regard the Middle East as critical any longer, who's going to keep peace in the region? Italy? Greece? Are we prepared to live with the consequences of a nuclear conflagration a few miles south of Europe?
Britain and the rest of Europe have been relying on the US for their protection far too long. Money that should have gone into defence of the realm has instead gone into social programmes that have succeeded where the Luftwaffe failed in destroying the country. At the same time France has been talking up its puny force de frappe and slagging off les Yankees, while sponging off US military spending. And Germany neither is nor wishes to be a serious military power. It no longer wants to conquer Europe. It would rather just buy it.
Well, now that the US is taking an Asian slant in its strategic presence, shall we continue to treat our military budget as a soft touch for debilitating cuts? You bet we will. We can't cut social spending or foreign aid, can we now? Our politicians know how to get elected, but that's all they know. They don't realise that such strategic myopia may mean that soon they won't be elected but appointed. By foreigners.
