Re: Hurricane Warnings and Watches 30 Counties In Texas !!!Harvey Updates
PREDICTION:

The liberal media will throw a s*it fit because Trump is at Camp David this weekend,
even though they KNOW that the President has nearly identical capability to lead and
communicate with all agencies and assets from Camp David as he does from the White House.

Guaranteed they will make this an issue just to try to mess with the guy.

He's issued all the help available and Abbott will do the absolute best he can but nothing can change what this storm is about to unleash. As usual, you have a whole lot of people in denial, thinks they're immortal, too poor to leave OR have nowhere to go. They lived through Hurricane blah blah so shrug this off. People are going to die, get trapped.

I agree. Gov. Abbott said there still is time to evacuate. He said you might survive the first inundation of flooding but by the 2nd or 3rd day you will not be able to. I guess that's why he's focusing on so many search and rescue teams.

ECMWF model output pushing 60-inches of rainfall over next 8 days as #Harvey meanders thru SE Texas. Time to abandon ship.

Time to MAKE a ship. LOL

If true, that would be beyond catastrophic....

Updated spaghetti models:

If I understand those models right, they are indicating that most likely the hurricane will venture back into the Gulf to later re-enter Texas somewhere they aren't quite sure? Only two models has it coming up through Louisiana now. That was the consensus just last night I believe, but now it seems to have changed?

Basically, these are just a guess. Since there are no, or very weak steering currents, they cannot predict its course.

Actual numbers are 54" around Corpus Christi, 22" Houston from epic deluge #Harvey

I am now worried sick :hide: about what that man said at the end of the briefing about Wimberley Texas. He said his daughter and grandbabies are there and everyone there thinks they will be okay if their location has never flooded before. He said he's going to call her and make sure she has an escape route planned in advance because this is a storm like none we have ever seen before.

My daughter is also in Wimberley. I know they probably won't see anything like what other areas will see, but damn, I am so worried. That briefing did not give me a good feeling.

ETA: In the south, when someone refers to their "grandbabies" in a situation like this, that means they are worried.

There's too much uncertainty still, it could go anywhere really.

Governor Abbott recommending voluntary evacuation of Houston, even though he says there have been no calls for mandatory evacuation in Houston.

Mandatory evac out of Houston would be horrendous. They would have to shut down all freeways/interstates in one direction so that all the lanes could be used to get all of these people out. And i-10 in either direction would not be an option I suppose. Everybody out on 45N and 59N? That will be Rita on steroids......

I agree. To me, it was like he was giving a muted warning. Just my opinion here, but it seems to me they have decided they can't evacuate everyone so will just have to deal with the fallout. He seemed to be sending a message to people who were able that they should leave no matter what the official stance might be.

PLEASE WE SHOULD START A THREAD ABOUT THE CATASTHROPHIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE DESTRUCTION ON PART OF TEXAS/LA

President Trump will visit Texas early next week. Will be his first natural disaster if you don't count the one where he bought a couple semi trucks full of aid.

It seems so close to land...

And they are still predicting landfall in roughly 6 hours?

Easily recognizable face in the eye of the hurricane.

It is a very well known (among angels) demon who's name is difficult to express in human languages phonetically or written.

He is the destroyer of world's, unleashed in end times in world's where evil has prevailed.

If this sign is real, the this is only the beginning...

Take your most prized items and go...cause nothing else will be left.

From yesterday:

In terms of economic impacts, nearly one-third of America's refining capacity currently sits in the path of the storm and large E&P companies have already started to evacuate staff from offshore rigs which will reduce oil imports to the Texas coast.

"Biggest impact of this storm will be a significant reduction of crude oil imports into the Texas Gulf Coast, resulting in refineries cutting crude rates,” Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates in Houston, said by email. “There will also be a significant impact on petroleum product exports impacting supplies into Mexico.”
