Isaiah 3:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Isaiah 3:8-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen,
Because their speech and their actions are against the LORD,
To rebel against His glorious presence.
9 The expression of their faces bears witness against them,
And they display their sin like Sodom;
They do not even conceal it.
Woe to them!
For they have brought evil on themselves.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

8 Jerusalem had turned to idols but there always was a group there that followed after the Lord. Judah this being a reference to the kingdom, Judah would fall and the kingdom would never be back again. They rebelled against the Lord and did things there own way and never got back to where they were but for those who had faith in the Lord it didn’t matter because with the Lord it is well.

9 Judah was doing things such as the world they had such practices of evil worship these false gods. We have to let God have our sins and not let our sins become our god as they had.
